NightZard Productions™ creates strange worlds and provocative narratives that unsettle, challenge perception, and force you to confront hidden assumptions you didn’t even know you carried.

These games, and the writing around them, are meant to make you uncomfortable. I want them to press into the parts of reality we usually avoid. What lies beneath the masks and labels. The things society buries under performance, distraction, and fear.

If it clicks for you, you might start to see the backstages. The place behind the set where the illusion falls apart and something sacred is revealed. That's what happened to me when I began questioning everything, and I've never seen the world the same since.

About Us

Hey there, welcome to NightZard Productions™!

I’m Callan Hansen, founder of this small indie studio I started in 2017. What began as a simple love for games has become a way to turn the questions, doubts, and truths I couldn’t put into words into experiences you can play. These games aren’t for distraction. They push you to confront reality and the aspects of yourself most people ignore.

I believe games are more than entertainment. They let us see the world through someone else’s eyes and question the reality we usually take for granted. In a world dominated by ego, comparison, and the pressure to fit in, I make games that push back. They’re a way to break free from yourself and feel what you might normally ignore. Over time I’ve realized that games aren’t just an escape; they can change how you see, live, and connect long after the screen goes dark.

Games should be more than something you play. They should be something you experience. They’re a way to confront identity, your character, your story, and the narratives and labels we place on the world and ourselves.

Also, I've been writing blogs where I share more about the ideas behind my projects, including how perception and unconventional thinking shape the games and content I create. I’m excited to share these thoughts and see where questioning norms, challenging conventional ideas, and experimenting takes us.

I want to challenge the ego-driven narratives that dominate our culture, the stories that keep us stuck in fear, division, and complacency. Through games, writing, and community, I want to show what's possible when we question these patterns and push ourselves beyond mere existence. We don't have to accept the status quo. Together, we can create change and build a more connected, conscious world.
